Chakka Chilli / Crispy and Spicy Kathal Fry
A must try jack fruit recipe before the season ends.
Ingredients:
- Raw Jackfruit chopped-2 cup
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri chilly powder-1 1/2 tbsp
- Corn flour-2 tbsp
- Flour (maida)- 1 1/2 tbsp
- Salt-to taste
- Garam masala-1/2 tsp (optional)
- Oil-for deep frying
- Curry leaves-few
- Green chilly-few
Preparation:
- Marinate jack fruit pieces with ingredients from 2 to 7 add enough water to coat well.
- Deep fry them in hot oil on medium flame until crispy and done.
- Fry some curry leaves and green chilies in the same oil and garnish it on top of fried jack fruit.
- Serve warm and enjoy the crispy bites.
