Zebra Cake
Ingredients:
- Flour-2 cup
- Cocoa powder- 1/4 cup
- Baking powder- 1 1/2 tsp
- Salt-1/4 tsp
- Granulated sugar-1 cup
- Eggs-2
- Butter soften- 1/2 cup
- Vanilla extract-2 tbsp
- Milk- 1 1/2 cup
Preparation:
- Pre-heat the oven in to 180 degree and grease a cake pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt; sieve it for twice. Keep aside.
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy, light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one by one followed by vanilla extract. (beat each egg for 30 seconds or until mixed well.)
- Add half of the flour in to it and beat on low mode for few seconds.(or stir combine with a ladle)
- Add milk and mix well.
- Add remaining flour and mix until well combined.
- Divide the batter in to half.
- Mix of the bowl with cocoa powder and stir well until combined.
- In the cake pan drop 2 tbsp of vanilla cake batter and allow to spread itself.
- Then Drop 2 tbsp of cocoa batter in the center and allow it to spread.
- Add vanilla batter again followed by cocoa batter alternatively until the batter finishes.
- Without shaking the pan; place it inside the oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until top gets nice golden in color
- Cool on a wire and serve with a cup of milk!
