Ghee Biscuits

Ghee Biscuits are classic Indian melt in mouth cookies. The recipe almost similar to Nan Khatai but with slight change. The different colors gives a nice party effect but you may omit it if you don't want. 
Ingredients:
  1. Flour-100 gm
  2. Milk powder-50 gm
  3. Powdered sugar- 150 gm
  4. Ghee-150 gm (soften; room temp)
  5. Vanilla essence- 1/4 tsp
  6. Baking powder- 1/4 tsp
  7. Food colors-pink, yellow and green
Preparation:
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper or grease it.
  • Pre-heat the oven in 180  degree for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl mix powdered sugar with soften ghee; mix well with a ladle until creamy
  • Add all the other ingredients together and make a soft and smooth dough.
  • Divide the dough in to three or four equal parts.
  • Mix one with a drop of yellow food color; mix well and make smooth dough.
  • Mix the another two bowls with pink a green; the last one remains white.
  • Make small balls out of the dough and place them in baking tray by one inch part. (it slightly flattens after baking)
  • Bake it for about 20 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack and serve!!!
