Spicy Mutton Korma
If you are looking for a different and satisfying mutton curry recipe; try this! Spicy mutton korma is a delicious and finger licking mutton curry that pairs well with naan or any other roti. It simple easy to make with few spice powders.
Ingredients:- Mutton- 1/2 kg
- Crushed ginger-1 tbsp
- Crushed garlic-1 tbsp
- Salt-to taste
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder-1 tsp
- Oil-2 tbsp
- Onion-1 medium
- Tomato-1 large
- Cashew nut-6 nos
- Green chilly slit-2
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
- Kasoori methi-1 tsp
- Coriander leaves-to garnish
Preparation:
- Pressure cook cleaned mutton pieces with ingredients from 2-7 by adding enough water until done.
- Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan; add chopped onions and saute for a minute.
- Add chopped tomato, green chilly, cashew nut, coriander powder and cumin powder.
- Mix well for two minutes and switch off the flame.
- After cools down add this onion mix in to a blender and make a smooth puree out of it by adding little water.
- Add this puree back to the pan and heat up.
- Boil for a minute and add the cooked mutton pieces and garam masala.
- Cook for another few minutes until the curry thickens.
- Add crushed kasoori methi on top and switch off the flame.
- Serve by garnishing with chopped coriander leaves.
