Spicy Mutton Korma

If you are looking for a different and satisfying  mutton curry recipe; try this! Spicy mutton korma is a delicious and finger licking mutton curry that pairs well with naan or any other roti. It simple easy to make with few spice powders.
  1. Mutton- 1/2 kg
  2. Crushed ginger-1 tbsp
  3. Crushed garlic-1 tbsp
  4. Salt-to taste
  5. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  6. Chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
  7. Pepper powder-1 tsp
  8. Oil-2 tbsp
  9. Onion-1 medium
  10. Tomato-1 large
  11. Cashew nut-6 nos
  12. Green chilly slit-2
  13. Coriander powder-1 tsp
  14. Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
  15. Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
  16. Kasoori methi-1 tsp
  17. Coriander leaves-to garnish
  • Pressure cook cleaned mutton pieces with ingredients from 2-7 by adding enough water until done.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan; add chopped onions and saute for a minute.
  • Add chopped tomato, green chilly, cashew nut, coriander powder and cumin powder.
  • Mix well for two minutes and switch off the flame.
  • After cools down add this onion mix in to a blender and make a smooth puree out of it by adding little water.
  • Add this puree back to the pan and heat up.
  • Boil for a minute and add the cooked mutton pieces and garam masala.
  • Cook for another few minutes until the curry thickens.
  • Add crushed kasoori methi on top and switch off the flame.
  • Serve by garnishing with chopped coriander leaves.
