- Oil-1 tbsp+1/4 cup
- In a large mixing bowl add flour, salt, 1 tbsp of oil and add enough water (or milk) little by little; Make a smooth dough.
- Cover it with a wet towel and rest for half an hour.
- After that knead it again for few minutes and divide the dough in to equal 20 balls.
- In a rolling pan. roll the ball in to thin circle. Move this in to another plate.
- Brush a teaspoon of oil on top evenly; sprinkle a teaspoon of flour also.
- Now roll the next ball as a thin circle and place it on top of the first circle.
- Again add a teaspoon of oil and flour on top.
- Now roll the next ball and repeat the process for about 10 balls.
- Now cut this layered parathas in to thin strips (an inch width of 6-8 strips).
- Roll the strip in to a ball again. Make all the balls in this way.
- Now take a ball and roll it on the rolling pin by applying oil or flour in to a thick circle.
