Milk Sarbath

Summer is officially here and it's time to indulge some summer cooler recipes. Milk sarbath is one of such perfect drink to quench your thirst. It's nothing but just an amazing combo of milk, nannari syrup and sabja seeds. Nannari is a popular medicinal herb mainly used to defeat the summer heat problems. You can use store bought nannari syrup or make it at your home if nannari roots (sarasaparilla roots) are available for you.  Sabja seeds also helps us to reduce body weight and heat. .Hence in all the means it is a perfect summer cooler...😊
Servings: 2 Glasses
  1. Milk- 2 cup
  2. Sabja seeds / cus-cus -2 tbsp
  3. Nannari syrup- 1/2 cup
  4. Ice cubes-6
  • Boil milk and allow to cool. After that refrigerate for an hour to chill.
  • Soak sabja seeds in one cup of water and let it rest for 5-10 minutes until transparent and doubled (may be more than 4 tbsp). Strain the water from it and refrigerate the seeds until milk chills.
  • Now Take two glasses; and fill the two in same way.
  • Add a two tablespoons of sabja seeds in a glass followed by 1/4 cup of nannari syrup, a cup of chilled milk and three ice cubes.

  • There is no such ruling in making milk sarbath, mix the ingredients according to your taste preferences.
  • No need to add any sugar in it, as the syrup has enough sweetness. You can increase or decrease the amount of sweetness by dding less or more syrup.
