Royal Mango Falooda

 Falooda is a delicious dessert treat in which a tall glass is filled with yummy eye stunning ingredients. I have already listed few falooda recipes in my blog (rose falooda; custard mango faloodaphirni falooda and mixed fruits falooda). Here is a rich and royal looking delicious mango falooda recipe with simple ingredients at home.
Servings: 2 Tall glasses
  1. Mango pieces-1 cup
  2. Sugar syrup-2 tbsp
  3. Mango pulp- 1 cup
  4. Sweetened condensed milk- 3 tbp (optional)
  5. Basil seeds/ sabja seeds-1 tbsp
  6. Falooda sev / thin vermicelii- 2 tbsp
  7. Rose syrup- 2tbsp
  8. Mango jelly-few pieces
  9. Ice cream- 2 big scoops
  10. Chopped nuts and cherries-to garnish
  • Soak basil seeds in water for 15 minutes until transparent.
  • Drain it and keep nearby.
  • Mix mango puree with sweetened condensed milk; keep it near by. (adding sweetened condensed milk is optional; you can use the mango puree itself)
  • Mix chopped mango pieces with sugar syrup.
  • Cook falooda sev in boiling water until cooked. Drain it and keep aside to cool; refrigerate for few minutes before assembling.
  • Now take two chilled tall glasses.
  • Add a teaspoon of basil seeds in each glass.
  • Above that add half of mango pieces, mango jelly, falooda sev, rose syrup followed by mango puree.
  • Once again repeat the layering with basil seeds,mango pieces, mango jelly, falooda sev, rose syrup followed by mango puree.
  • Finally top it with a scoop of ice cream and garnish on top with chopped nuts, rose syrup, cherries and mango pieces.
