Potato Garlic Dip

Usually we don't prefer to give mayonnaise or garlic dip to our children; due to the raw eggs used in it or having oily. Here is an amazing dip made with potatoes in garlic flavor. It tastes almost like garlic dip that we made with eggs. But it's more healthy, delicious and super easy to form a thick sauce.  After trying this; you will stop making normal garlic dip and mayonnaise.

  1. Boiled mashed potato- 1/2 cup
  2. Canola / sunflower oil- 1/4 cup (or any neutral flavor)
  3. Milk- 3/4 cup
  4. Vinegar-1 tbsp
  5. Salt-to taste
  6. Garlic-1 big pod (or 4 small)
  7. White pepper powder- 1/4 tsp (optional)
  8. Mustard powder- 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Pressure cook cleaned potatoes until well cooked.
  • After cools down; peel its skin and mash them well without any lumps.
  • Thickly pack it in to 1/2 cup measurement.
  • Blend it along with all other ingredients for two-to-three minutes continuously.
  • Check the consistency. If you need to loosen it; add some more milk and give a blend; or if you want to make it thick add some more oil (or mashed potatoes) and give a nice blend.
  • Serve it along with your favorite breads or French fries.
  • You can use milk powder by mixing with water instead of milk.
  • Adding pepper and mustard powder (or any one) is totally optional; but they give a nice and unique taste for the dip. If you don't have white pepper powder; use the normal pepper powder by sifting through a fine sieve. Else it is clearly seen on the dip; In the case of mustard powder also.
