Pizza Paratha
Eating something cheesy is always pleasure!! Here is a great idea for a lovely breakfast menu. It's nothing but pizza paratha. Try theses paratha's at home and add your favorite veg or non-veg filling inside. Here i used scrambled egg along with the veggies. You can replace it with shredded chicken or paneer.
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour- 1/2 cup
- Olive oil-1 tbsp
- Salt-to taste
- Hot water-to knead the dough
- Olive oil-1 tsp + 1 tbsp
- Chopped veggies- 1/4 cup (onion, capsicum. tomato and sweet corn)
- Salt-little
- Oregano- 1tsp
- Chilly flakes- 1/2 tsp
- Scrambled egg- one (with salt and pepper) (optional)
- Pizza sauce- 1/4 cup
- Grated mozzarella cheese- 1/4 cup
Preparation:
- In a a bowl knead the wheat flour by adding enough salt, olive oil ad hot water until smooth.
- Cover it and let it rest until all the other things (filling) get ready.
- Heat a pan with a teaspoon of olive oil; add the chopped veggies and saute for a minute by adding salt.
- Switch off the flame by adding oregano and chilly flakes.
- Roll the dough in to a thin large circle by using a rolling pin and by dusting flour.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over it leaving the edges.
- Spread the sauted veggie filling on one half side of the paratha.
- Add scrambled eggs followed by mozzarella cheese on top of veggie mix.
- Now grease little water (if needed) on the edges of the paratha and cover it like a half moon.
- Seal the edges using a fork or by hands.
- Heat a pan with little olive oil.
- Cook the paratha on low-medium flame until both sides are golden and cooked well . (add another teaspoon of oil when turn in to other side.)
- Cut the paratha in to two or three pieces and serve hot with a dip of tomato ketchup.
