Prawns Fried Rice
Fried rice is a tasty, nutritious, colorful and affordable food for most of all.The combination of pawns veggies, rice and stir fried eggs make a wonderful combination. It is so simple and easy to make. For a vegetarian option substitute the prawns with tofu or any other vegetable.

- Prawns cleaned- 1/2 kg
- Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
- Soya sauce-1 tsp
- Vinegar-1 tsp
- Corn flour- 1tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Marinate the prawns for 20 minutes and fry it in hot oil until just cooked or nice golden in color.
- Keep it aside.
- Basmati rice-2cup
- carrot chopped- 1/2 cup
- Beans chopped-3tbsp
- spring onion-5spring
- capsicum chopped-4tbsp
- egg-2
- ghee / butter- 4tbsp
- pepper powder-1tbsp
- soya sauce-2tbsp
- sweet chilly sauce-1tbsp
- salt-to taste
- Soak the basmati rice in water for 1 hour.
- Cook it with enough more water and salt and drain (u can also cook it by making ghee rice method with 1 ½ cup of water; then no need to drain but after cools down completely; separate the rice well.).
- Stir fry the eggs in little oil with salt and pepper powder; keep it aside.
- Heat butter or oil in a pan ,add chopped carrots, sauté for a minute.
- Add beans, spring onion, capsicum, pepper powder, soya sauce, chilly sauce, stir fried eggs, fried prawns and salt.
- Add cooked rice in to it and mix gently for 5 minutes.
- Switch off the flame and serve hot with tomato ketchup or the choice of your side dish.
