Lab-e-Shireen is a rich, creamy custard and classical Arabic dessert. Choose any tropical fruits to make this. Try this divine dessert for your ifthar and please your crowd.
  1. Milk-600 ml
  2. Sweetened Condensed milk-1 tin
  3. Custard powder-2 tbsp
  4. Rose Syrup-2 tbsp
  5. Vanilla essence-1/2 tsp
  6. Cooked Vermicelli- 1/2 cup
  7. Chopped mixed fresh fruits-1 cup (pineapple, apple, mango, strawberry, banana, grapes, etc.)
  8. Jelly pieces- 1/2 cup (different colors)
  9. Chopped dry fruits and nuts- 1/4 cup
  10. Fresh Cream- 1/2 cup
  • Boil milk in a sauce pan; when it boils add custard powder (by diluting with little milk as a paste form).
  • Stir well continuously without any lumps in it until thickens.
  • Switch off the fame and allow to cool.
  • After that mix it with fresh cream, vanilla essence, condensed milk and rose syrup.
  • Add chopped fruits, cooked vermicelli,  jelly pieces, and dry fruits.
  • Mix gently and set in fridge for at least two hours.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy.
