Palak Paratha

 Palak paratha is a nutritious Indian flat bread / roti. It is an awesome variation of normal paratha with the healthy green spinach. It’s quick easy to make and nice way to include vegetables in our daily diet. You can little cumin powder and chilly powder along with the palak puree for a spicy version; but it is simply the great.
  1. Palak chopped-2 cups (thickly packed)
  2. Wheat flour-2 cups
  3. Salt-to taste
  4. Water
  • Wash the palak leaves properly and chop in to small.
  • Heat a pan; add the chopped palak leaves along with two table spoons of water.
  • Saute for 3-4 minutes until the leaves get soft.
  • Switch off the flame and allow to cools down completely.
  • Add it in to a blender and make a coarse puree out of it.
  • In a large flour add wheat flour and salt.
  • Add the blended puree in to it (add water if needed) and make a smooth dough out of it.
  • Divide the dough in to equal sized balls.
  • Roll each ball in to thin circles by dusting flour and using a rolling pin.
  • Cook it on a heat tawa until both sides are done.
  • Serve hot with some raitha and pickle.
