Mutton Soup
Healthy hot soups are always good for the winter days to
warm up and it is also a home remedy for cold and cough. Mutton soup is a hearty meal
served along with steamed rice. Choose
mutton pieces with more bones in it for making soup.
Ingredients:
- Mutton pieces with bone- 250gms
- Oil-1 tbsp
- Onion-1
- Ginger crushed-1 tsp
- Garlic crushed-1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Chilly powder- ½ tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Pepper powder- 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Coriander leaves chopped- 2 tbsp
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker; sauté onions until transparent.
- Add ginger and garlic crushed. Sauté for a minute.
- Add all the spice powders along with mutton pieces.
- Saute for 5 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of hot water in to it.
- Pressure cooks in low-medium flame for 15-18 vesicles until the bones become tender and chewy.
- Open the lid only after the pressure releases completely by itself.
- Sprinkle coriander leaves on top and serve hot!!!
