Fruits and Nuts Oats Porridge
Oats is a complete food that is not only a well balanced diet food but also a full meal to satisfy our taste buds. It is a power house of vitamins and proteins.
Here is a quick oats recipe with milk, fruits and nuts. These fruits and nuts give
delicious crunch along with additional proteins and essential fats.
Ingredients:
- Oats- ¾ cup
- Milk- 1 ½ cup
- Honey-1 ½ tbsp
- Cardamom powder- ¼ tsp
- Butter-1 tbsp
- Banana-1
- Mixed fruits chopped- 1 ½ cup
- Mixed nuts chopped- ¼ cup
Preparation:
- In a heated pan; add butter.
- Add oats and cook on low flame for 2 minutes until crisp.
- Add milk and honey in to it and let it boil.
- cook until oats become soft thickens the porridge.
- Add cardamom powder and switch off the flame.
- Mash the banana well with your hand and mix it with oats.
- After cools down, Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- In a serving bowl add ¼ part of mixed fruits and nuts.
- Add half part of porridge on top.
- Now add another ¼ part of fruits and nut on top.
- Prepare another bowl in the same way.
- Drizzle some honey on top.
- Serve soon and enjoy the taste.
