Chicken seekh kebab

Seekh kebabs are flavorful appetizers made with chicken , lamb or beef. Chicken seekh kebab is an absolutely delicious recipe of chicken; which is popular in Middle East. The super moist; tender kebabs are quick easy to make at home on the stove top. Dip it with your favorite sauces and serve  the wonderful hot treat to your family.
  1. Chicken boneless- 250 gm (or minced chicken)
  2. Onion-1 medium 
  3. Ginger chopped- 1 tbsp
  4. Garlic chopped-1 tbsp
  5. Chilly powder-1 tsp
  6. Pepper powder- 1tsp
  7. Coriander powder-1 tsp
  8. Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
  9. Salt-to taste
  10. Cashew nuts- 6 nos (optional)
  11. Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
  12. Coriander leaves chopped- 2 tbsp
  13. Butter-2 tbsp + more
  14. Bamboo skewers-few
  • Soak cashew nut in hot water for few minutes.
  • In a blender add cashew nut and lemon juice; make a smooth paste.
  • Add anion chopped, ginger and garlic; blend to smooth.
  • Then blend bone less chicken pieces and blend to a coarse paste.
  • In a large bowl; mix all the powders, coriander leaves and blended chicken and onion.
  • Add two table spoons of melted butter in to it and mix well.
  • Keep in fridge for at least 20 minutes to set.
  • Cut the bamboo skewers in to desired length (cut out small portion from it for small kebabs).
  • Grease your hand well with water and take a small portion of kebab mix and stick it on the skewer.
  • Keep aside in plate.
  • In this way thread all the kebab mix on the skewers. (wet your hands with water before making each kebabs; otherwise it will stick on your hands).
  • In a non-stick pan; add little butter (or oil) place the skewers on top.
  • Cook on low flame until all sides are golden brown and cooked well.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges and brushing butter on top.
