Matar Mushroom Korma

Matar mushroom is a rich and delicious creamy curry with matar(green peas)  and mushroom. Its a mildly spiced curry. You can increase the spiciness by adding more green chillies.

  1. Green peas (fresh/frozen) -1/4 cup
  2. Mushroom chopped-1/4 cup
  3. Onion-1
  4. Green chilly-2
  5. Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
  6. Curry leaves-optional
  7. Coriander leaves-few
  8. pepper powder-1tsp
  9. Garam masala-a pinch
  10. Salt-to taste
  11. Oil-1tbsp
  12. Cashew nut-8 nos
  13. Fresh cream-1tbsp
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add onion and saute until transparent.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and green chilly slit.
  • Add green peace, mushroom, garam masala and salt.
  • Saute for 5-6 minutes.
  • blend cashews with little water in to a thick paste.
  • Add it in to the curry with little water. 
  • Cook for another few minutes until the curry starts to thick.
  • Add fresh cream; mix well and switch off the flame.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot.
