Spicy Pasta Cake

Pasta cake is a unique choice for a different dinner. The layers of pasta and masala is really tastes well. You can add mixed veggies of your choice and mozzarella cheese on top of it for an extra taste. This crunchy and spicy pasta cake is full of flavorful ingredients and simply serve it with salad.

  1. Cooked Pasta-2cup (with enough water and salt and drained)
  2. Eggs-3nos
  3. Cooked minced chicken-1cup (cooked with little salt, turmeric powder and pepper powder)
  4. Oil-2tbsp
  5. Cumin seeds- ¼ tsp
  6. Onion-1 medium
  7. Ginger garlic crushed-1tbsp
  8. Green chilly minced-1tsp
  9. Carrots chopped-2tbsp
  10. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  11. Chili powder- 1tsp
  12. Pepper powder-1tsp
  13. Garam masala- ¼ tsp
  14. Baking soda-a pinch
  15. Flour / maida-1tbsp
  16.  Salt- to taste
  17. Coriander leaves-few
  • In a heated pan, add oil and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add onion and sauté until transparent.
  • Add ginger garlic crushed and green chilly; sauté for a minute.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, pepper powder and mix well.
  • Add carrots in to it and mix well.
  • Check salt and sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
  • Switch off the flame and keep it aside to cool.
  • In another bowl, beat egg until fluffy (5minutes) with an electric beater.
  • Add little salt and pepper powder.
  • Add the cooked pasta and chicken masala in to it and fold well with a spoon.
  • Sieve flour and baking soda on top of it and fold well to mix completely.
  • Add it in to the  greased (with oil or butter)baking tray and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 25-30 minutes(or add it in to a non-stick pan (at low flame) and cook until bottom gets brown in color, then turn in to the other side and cook for few minutes also) .
  • Insert a tooth pick and check whether it comes out clean.
  • Remold after cools down and serve hot by microwaving 1 minute.
