Thattukada Style Chicken Fry



There is an  extra taste in all street food recipes. We all love to eat that; especially the fried items. Here is the simple and easy recipe of delicious thattukada style chicken fry. It’s a wonderful combination with Kerala Parotta. Everyone must give a try and enjoy the great taste.


Ingredients:
  1. chicken -200gm
  2. Dry red chilly-12nos
  3. Ginger paste-1tsp
  4. Garlic paste-1tsp
  5. Curry leaves-1string
  6. Salt-to taste
Other ingredients:
  1. Onion-1
  2. Green chilly-4
  3. Curry leaves-3string
  4. lemon-a small piece
Preparation:
  1. Remove the seeds inside the dry red chilly.
  2. Blend it with curry leaves and little water in to a fine thick paste.
  3. Mix it with garlic paste, ginger paste and salt.
  4. Marinate it with the chicken pieces for 4 hours.
  5. Fry it in hot oil  on low-medium flame until both sides are brown in color.
  6. When the chicken is half fried; add 3 strings of curry leaves in to it.
  7. When it is almost done add the roundly cut onions and slit green chillies.
  8. Take out all these from oil and put it on a serving plate.
  9. Serve hot by sprinkling little lemon juice on top of it.
