Pan Cake Recipe

 Pan cake is an American breakfast. This soft and fluffy pan cakes can easily make at your home and you will wonder why you never tried the recipe before!! Here is the easy recipe of plain pan cake from scratch.
  1. All purpose flour / maida- 1cup
  2. sugar-2tbsp
  3. Milk-1cup
  4. Salt-to taste
  5. Baking powder-1tsp
  6. Oil-2tbsp
  7. Egg-1
  8. Butter/ oil-2tbsp
  9. For toppings-butter / jam/ honey / fresh cream/ fresh fruits
  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl (except 9 ) without any lumps.
  • Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • In a heated pan add little butter.
  • Pour a ladle of batter in to it, don’t spread the batter but allow it to make a small thick circle by itself.
  • Flip the other side when the bubbles starts coming on the upper side and the bottom gets  golden brown in color.
  • Cook until remaining side is also golden brown in color.
  • Repeat the process for all remaining batter.
  • These quantities of batter can able to serve 4 pancakes.
  • Serve hot immediately by spreading some honey or whipping cream and fresh fruits with it.
