Easy Mixed Fruit Jam

 One of the easy and tasty methods to preserve fruits for long term storage is making fruit jam with it. Choose the fruits of your choice or what you have it with. Or choose any one of your favorite fruit. Here is the quick and simple recipe of mixed fruit jam for a delightful afternoon treat.

Ingredients:
  1. Apple-1
  2. Plums-2
  3. Banana-1
  4. Strawberry-6
  5. Lemon juice-1tbsp
  6. Sugar-1/2 cup
Preparation:
  • Chop all the fruits in to small pieces (peel the skin of apple if you feel, it is wax coated, remove seeds of plum and peel the skin of banana).
  • Put it in a pressure cooker and cooks for one whistle on low flame by adding only 2 tbsp of water with it.
  • Open the lid, after it releases all the pressure by itself.
  • Add it in to a heated pan and allow drying all the excess water content.
  • Add sugar and lemon juice in to it and stir well in a low flame.
  • Stir continuously (10-15 minutes) until it started to thicken (no need to be too thick, when it cools down; it automatically thickens).
  • Switch off the flame and allow to cools down completely.
  • Serve with a pair of bread and enjoy!!!
  • Store it in an air tight container for longer use.
  • Note: Took the amount of fruits according to your choice; no need of an exact measurement.
