Crispy Fried Mushroom

Crispy fried mushrooms are grate for a tea time party. Deep frying makes the mushrooms soft and delicious inside and crunchy in the outside.

  1. Mushroom- 15 nos (small)
  2. Panko bread crumbs-1 cup
  3. Flour- ½ cup
  4. Corn flour- ¼ cup
  5. Baking powder- ¼ tsp
  6. Salt-to taste
  7. Garlic powder- ¼ tsp
  8. Pepper powder- ½ tsp
  • Wash the mushrooms and by using a kitchen towel wipe it softly.
  • In a bowl mix, flour, corn flour, baking powder, pepper powder, garlic powder and salt.
  • Add water in to until it reaches a dosa batter consistency.
  • Dip each mushroom in the batter and then coat it with panko bread crumbs.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the mushrooms until golden in color.
  • Drain in to paper towels and serve hot.
