Mutton Aloo Curry
Mutton with aloo curry is an awesome flavorful and mildly spiced curry that goes well with any type of roti, paratha and ghee rice. mutton and potato cooked along with coconut milk gravy is really yummy. Here is the simple recipe.

- Mutton-1/4kg
- Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
- Chilly powder-1/2tsp
- Pepper powder-1/2tsp
- Garam masala-1/4tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Oil-2tbsp
- Fennel seeds-1/2tsp
- Curry leaves-2string
- Onion-1
- Ginger garlic crushed-2tbsp
- Tomato-1
- Green chilly-1
- Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
- Chilly powder-1/2tsp
- Pepper powder-1/2tsp
- Coriander powder-1/2tsp
- Garam masala-1/4tsp
- Coconut milk-1cup
- Salt-to taste
- Potato-1medium
- Shallots-3nos
- Pressure cooks mutton with 2 to 6 ingredients until mutton pieces are half cooked.
- Heat oil in a kadai splutter fennel seeds, add curry leaves and onion.
- Saute until transparent and golden brown in color.
- Add crushed garlic, ginger and green chilly.
- Saute until raw smell goes off.
- Add all the powders one by one in simmer mode and mix well.
- Add chopped tomato pieces and saute until mashed well.
- Add potato pieces (chopped in to medium sized cubes) along with 1cup of hot water.
- Add half cooked mutton along with its stock to the potato curry.
- Cover cook it for 20-30 minutes in a low-medium flame (stir occasionally).
- After that add, coconut milk in to this and cook for another 15 minutes in slow flame or until it reaches the desired thick curry consistencyy and the potato and mutton pieces are cooked nicely.
- Switch off the flame and season it with fried shallots.
- Sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
