Layered Biscuit Pudding

Biscuit pudding is one of the easiest and tastiest pudding choices for me ever. I already add four other biscuit pudding recipes in my blog. They are caramel biscuit pudding , custard biscuit pudding, serradura, easy biscuit pudding. Here is another simple and tasty preparation.

  1. Biscuit-2 big packet (use petit beurre biscuit for the greater taste…or else you can use 50-50, Marie, glucose or any plain biscuits)
  2. Milk-1cup
  3. Plain flour / maida- 3tbsp
  4. Corn flour-3tbsp
  5. Milk maid-1tin (or less as per taste)
  6. Thick cream-250ml
  7. Vanilla essence- ¼tsp
  8. Coffee powder-1tbsp
  9. Water-1cup
  10. Cocoa powder-to decorate
  • Boil 1cup of water and when it boils add coffee powder and switch off the flame. Strong coffee is ready now and allows it in to cool.
  • In another pan mix flour and corn flour together.
  • Add milk little by little and mix well without foaming any lumps.
  • Switch on the flame and keep stirring continuously.
  • When it boils and starts thickening, mix well and add vanilla drops.
  • Switch off the flame and add thick cream and milkmaid; mix (or beat) well without foaming any lumps .
  • Allow it to cool completely.
  • Grease the pudding tray with little butter or ghee.
  • Now dip a biscuit quickly in the coffee and put it in the pudding tray.
  • In such a way dip other biscuits and arrange it as a layer in the pudding tray as shown in the picture.
  • Spread a part of cream on top of it evenly.
  • Again make a layer of biscuits by dipping in the coffee and then layer it with cream.
  • Continue the process until the cream and biscuits get finished.
  • The top layer must be a cream layer.
  • Sprinkle cocoa powder evenly on top of the last layer by using a strainer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 5 hours or a whole night to set.
  • Cut in to pieces with a sharp knife and serve cool.
