Fish Chilly

Fish chilly is a tasty Indo Chinese fish preparation. It is quite easy to make and have a different fish recipe.Use any big fish to make to make this.

Ingredients for marinating:
  1. fish pieces-250g(use any big fish,boneless)
  2. turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  3. pepper powder-1/2tsp
  4. lemon juice-1tsp
  5. kashmiri chilly powder-1tsp
  6. cornflour-1tbsp
  7. flour-1tbsp
  8. soya sauce-1tsp
  9. salt-to taste
  10. Other ingredients:
  11. onion cut in to cubes-1big
  12. capsicum chopped-1small
  13. ginger chopped thinly-1tbsp
  14. garlic chopped thinly-1tbsp
  15. green chilly chopped-1tsp
  16. Kashmiri chilly powder-1tsp
  17. soya sauce-1tsp
  18. tomato ketchup-2tbsp 
  19. chilly sauce-1tsp
  20. corn flour-1tbsp
Preparation:
  • Marinate the fish cubes with ingredients under marination for 15 minutes.
  • Shallow fry it until both sides are cooked (dont fry too much).
  • In the remaining oil add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilly.
  • Saute until brown isn colour.
  • Add cubed onions and saute for a minute.
  • Add chilly powder and little salt in it.
  • Add fried fish pieces, capsicum, soya sauce, chilly sacuce and ketchup.
  • Dilute 1/4 cup of water with cornflour and add it in the chilly.
  • when it starts thickening off the flame.
  • Serve hot with your choice of roti or rice.
