Coconut Tamarind Chutney

 Coconut chutney is an all time favorite side dish for all types of dosa and some snacks like uzhunnu vada. Here is a quick and delicious coconut chutney recipe. Serve this perfect dip with your breakfast dosa.

Ingredients:
  1. Coconut grated- half of a coconut
  2. dry red chilly-2 big
  3. salt-to taste
  4. tamarind-small lemon sized ball.
  5. oil-to season
  6. mustard-to season
Preparation:
  • Dry roast the grated coconut for few minutes until its color gets started to change.
  • take it out from the pan.
  • Add a teaspoon of oil in the pan and sauté red chilly.
  • Take it out and use the oil for seasoning.
  • In blender add coconut, red chilly, salt, tamarind and little water to grind in to a smooth chutney.
  • Season it with mustard seeds and serve with Dosa.
