Stuffed Squid Fry
 Stuffed squid fry is a tempting squid recipe which is simple easy to make. Before stuffing remove the heads of squid and clean the inner sides properly.
  1. Squid-5large
  2. Oil-1tbsp
  3. Onion-1
  4. Potato boiled and mashed-1medium
  5. Carrots grated-1tbsp
  6. Green chilly thinly chopped-1tsp
  7. Ginger chopped-1tsp
  8. Garlic chopped-1tsp
  9. Salt-to taste
  10. Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  11. Cumin powder- ½ tsp
  12. pepper powder-1/2 tsp
  13. Coriander leaves-few
  • Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan; sauté onion until transparent.
  • Add ginger, garlic and green chilly.
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin powder , salt and pepper powder.
  • Add mashed potato and chopped carrots in to it.
  • Mix well and switch off the flame,
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves.
  • Stuff it inside the cleaned squids.
  • Don’t stuff too much; when you are frying the stuffing will comes out (if you want seal the edges with coconut leaf sticks).
  • steam the stuffed squid in an idly vessel for 5 minutes.
  • after cools down marinate it with little turmeric powder, chilly powder, pepper powder and salt.
  • Fry the squid in hot oil until both sides are golden (Don’t fry for long time, then the squid become rubbery texture; just for few minutes).
