Kesar Pista Kulfi

Kulfi is a traditional Indian frozen dessert. Here is the simplest and easiest way of making delicious homemade kesar pista kulfi.
  1. Milk-3cup
  2. Sugar- ¼ cup
  3. Saffron-a pinch
  4. Pistachio-2tbsp
  • Soak saffron in little warm milk for 20minutes.
  • In heavy bottom pan, boil 3 cups of milk.
  • Add sugar in to it.
  • Add soaked saffron and crushed pistachios in to it.
  • In a low flame stir well the milk until it reaches to its half quantity (until reaches 1 ½ cup quantity).
  • Do not allow to burned the milk (keep stirring); it will spoil the taste of kulfi.
  • Allow to cool down and pour in to kulfi moulds (or plastic glasses with a skewer in it).
  • Freeze it for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  • To tap it out show the moulds under tap water for a minute and pull it out gently (or gently run a knife through the sides of mould).
