Dragon Chicken

 Dragon chicken is Tasty Indo-Chinese chicken variety and is one of the easiest preparation among them. Fried cashew nuts along with the gravy gives a delicious taste. It served as a starter and also a side dish.



Ingredients For marinating:
  1. Chicken boneless-400gm (cut in to chunks)
  2. Ginger paste-1tsp
  3. Garlic paste-1tsp
  4. Salt-to taste
  5. Soya sauce-1tsp
  6. Egg white-1
  7. Kashmiri chilly powder-1tbsp
  8. Corn flour-1tbsp
  9. All purpose flour (maida)-2tbsp
Other Ingredients;
  1. Oil-2tbsp
  2. Onion-1 big thinly chopped
  3. Ginger chopped-1tbsp
  4. Garlic chopped-1tbsp
  5. Cashew nut chopped- 15 nos
  6. Kashmiri chilly powder-1tsp
  7. Soya sauce-1tbsp
  8. Tomato ketchup- 1/4 cup
  9. Salt-to taste
  10. Spring Onion chopped-few
  11. Capsicum chopped-few
Preparation:
  • Marinate the chicken with ingredients under marinating for 30 minutes.
  • In a non stick pan; fry it until golden in color. don't do over fry; until chicken changes its color.
  • Keep it aside in a paper towel.
  • Heat 2tbsp of oil in a pan; add cashew nuts, chopped ginger and garlic.
  • When it changes the color add onion chopped and sauté for a minute.
  • Add chilly powder and salt; sauté for a minute.
  • Add soya sauce, tomato ketchup, fried chicken pieces and mix well.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Switch off the flame and mix it with spring onion and capsicum chopped.
