Egg chops / Egg kebab



Egg chops is a tasty tea time snack. it is a healthy no meat kebab that satisfies your tastes bud. It is a famous street food in Kolkata. it is a very good healthy snack idea for children's snack box. With the given ingredients you can make 8 egg chop



Ingredients:
  1. Potato-2
  2. Boiled egg-2
  3. Coriander leves chopped-1tsp
  4. Curry leaves chooped-1tsp
  5. Salt-to taste
  6. Cumin seeds-a pinch
  7. Pepper powder-1/2tsp
  8. Chilly powder- ½ tsp
  9. Egg-1
  10. Bread crumbs- ¾ cup
  11. Oil-for deep frying
Preparation:
  • Cook the potato until very soft. Remove the skin and mash it very well.
  • To this add all the powders, coriander leaves and curry leaves.
  • Divide it in to 8 portions
  • Cut each egg in to 4 pieces through length wise.
  • Cover each piece of egg with potato mixture very well.
  • Beat one egg with little salt and pepper.
  • Dip each covered eggs in to this beaten egg.
  • Then roll it in the bread crumbs.
  • Again dip it in the egg and roll again with bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry it in the hot oil until golden brown in color.
